ReedGroup Design System
Background
ReedGroup, a leave management outsourcing company, who is owned by Guardian Life, needed a design system created within Figma in order to promote more efficient work flows.
Starting with the basics
Created a page containing logos for ease of use. Figma users can now pull in the intended logo via the library
typography
With any design, comes copy. Created font styles according to ReedGroup brand guidelines. Now, Figma users can type then select a font style for their designs.
Adding a bit of color
Color styles are added to the system to ensure design integrity throughout each file. This creates an ease of use not only for designers, but also for developers. There’s no more guess work involved.
Down to the details
ReedGroup web pages involve many interactive elements. Each section here contains every possible use of components. Users can simply drag and drop the component they need and select variables in the sidebar menu for quick mock ups. Each element is also fitted for auto-layout usage which not only benefits designers, but creates a friendly interaction for developers as well.
